IRmax Flammable Gas Detector

IRmax is a unique low-power infrared flammable gas detector designed to work with standard 4-20mA control equipment. Because of its very low power consumption of only 1 watt, IRmax can utilise smaller power supplies and much longer cable runs than other IR detectors. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel for durability, IRmax has both ATEX and IECEx approval and is IEC61508 SIL 2 compliant.

The optional fixed or remote IS Display enables simple non-intrusive calibration and connection of a HART communicator.

A duct mounting kit, flow adaptor and mounting bracket kit are among the accessories available for IRmax and IREX (below).

IREX Pellistor Replacement Flammable Gas Detector

IREX is designed to replace pellistor (catalytic bead) flammable gas detectors and provides a low-maintenance solution without replacing costly control equipment. Using its unique rotating gland, IREX screws directly into the existing detector's junction box and utilises existing cabling and control cards. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel for durability, IREX has both ATEX and IECEx approval and is IEC61508 SIL 2 compliant.
